China Zero-Tariff Policy Opens New Opportunities for Namibian Exporters
August 12, 2026
Namibian businesses could gain greater access to the Chinese market following China’s decision to remove tariffs on qualifying imports from 53 African countries, including Namibia.

Namibia Trade Forum Acting Chief Executive Officer Rodney Hoeb says Namibian businesses need to focus on products with strong demand in China, while improving production capacity, skills and financing.
