Brandon Simbwaye residents mobilize for action on service delivery
October 6, 2025
Brandon Simbwaye one of Windhoek’s largest informal settlements in the Samora Machel Constituency, continues to grapple with serious challenges from scarce water and poor sanitation to the absence of street lighting and frustrations over service delivery.
Community leaders say residents have had enough of being overlooked. They are now mobilizing and preparing for a major meeting next weekend to engage stakeholders and press for solutions.
Speaking to Desert FM, community leader Michael Negodhi emphasized the urgent need for authorities to listen and act saying the settlement is determined to secure better living conditions.
