Ben Ulenga on historic reunion for ex-Robben Island political prisoners

South Africa’s Sport, Arts and Culture Minister, Gayton McKenzie, has announced a historic reunion for ex-political prisoners at the Robben Island Museum in Cape Town, taking place on Saturday, the 27th of September. This gathering will bring together former political prisoners from South Africa and Namibia, paying tribute to their extraordinary bravery and resilience during the fight against apartheid and colonialism. Among those being honored are Namibian ex-prisoners who shared this struggle on Robben Island.
Joining us now is someone who lived that history Mr. Ben Ulenga, former PLAN fighter from 1974 to 1976, who was imprisoned on Robben Island from 1976 to 1985 for his role in the liberation struggle.
