Angula, Nekundi clash over Land Cruiser Nujoma used

A debate over respect and protocol has erupted in Namibia’s political circles.
Former prime minister Nahas Angula, the chairperson of the Sam Nujoma Foundation, has accused minister of works and transport Veikko Nekundi of disrespecting the founding president’s legacy by using a government vehicle once assigned to Nujoma. The foundation says the black Land Cruiser should have been preserved as a historical artefact, while Nekundi maintains it’s part of the state fleet and that proper procedures were followed.
