Andrew Kgosiemang discusses the Genocide Remembrance Day

The Genocide Remembrance Day has been hailed by many Namibians for having given honour to the memory of the Herero and Nama who perished in the genocidal war of 1904 and1908. The Day is the first of its kind to be led by a Namibian president. However there have been concerns that it was not as inclusive as possible.
We are joined by Batswana Chief Andrew Kgosiemang to reflect on the good and the bad of the event itself and what needs to be improved on and what must remain as Namibia looks to the future of the event on the National calendar
