As Namibia’s proposed 2025 Mental Health Bill is celebrated for advancing dignity and human rights, advocates are warning of a critical omission maternal mental health. They argue that excluding pre and postnatal depression overlooks the struggles of countless Namibian mothers and may contribute to preventable tragedies.
