Okahandja Mayor Welcomes Red Force Exit, Urges Softer Debt Collection Approach

Minister of Urban and Rural Development, James Sankwasa, has officially ordered all municipalities and town councils not to renew contracts with debt collector RedForce Debt Management. This comes after years of public outrage over what many have called exploitative and aggressive collection tactics, including sudden disconnections of water and electricity and high penalty fees.
